  The Paul Taylor Dance Company, established in 1954, has long been one of the world's most highly respected dance troupes.   It's been four years since the ASC presented Pilobolus, and we still haven't stopped talking about that show! Their movie-themed human sculptures during the Academy Awards a few seasons ago introduced a whole new audience to the eye-popping magic of Pilobolus. Their trademark weight sharing or "combined bodies" choreography, energy, and humor keep audiences roaring for more!

  This show is part of the 2009 Alabama Dance Festival. Tony-nominated Desmond Richardson, one of today's greatest modern dancers, and Dwight Rhoden, one of dance's most sought after choreographers (both of Alvin Ailey fame) combined to form Complexions, recipient of the coveted New York Times "Critics Choice" Award in 1995.  From "pointe" to "pop," they explore the full range of human emotions with cutting-edge choreography and original music.
